SCHIP – Better Health care for Kids
State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) is hailed as the first step into the much needed overhaul of the American Health care system which has suffered so much in these past few years that millions upon millions of Americans do not have proper health insurance. Most American families fall in between the gap that does not get them qualified to get state health care for they are earning too much and on the other side, not earning enough to purchase private health care. This is the gap that the bill aims to narrow with additional coverage for 4 million children who are expected to benefit. It will take a couple of years to fully implement and is hailed as one of the first successes in the battle to solve America’s health care system woes towards a better system.
